On 5^th May, 2016, Lafarge Malaysia held a celebration at RAPID jobsite, on the new milestone 1 million cbm concrete by EUROTEC, a subsidiary of LINTEC group.

The Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (RAPID) project in Pengerang, Malaysia, commenced in June 2015,which was invested by Malaysia oil and gas company Petroliam Nasional Berhad(PETRONAS), is aim to ever-increasing demand for oil products and chemical raw materials in southeast Asia.

In order to meet the concrete mixing process, the concrete batching plants EUROTEC supplier to this project were equipped with cooling system machine: Chilled Water system and Flake Ice Machine. Chilled Water system has proven to efficiently lower tempeture of the concrete, allowing the plant to produce higher grade concrete. The Flake Ice machine , which uses flake ice as a medium, performed above expectations, further reducing the cooling point , and producing quality concrete to achieve the customers requirement.

The plant will continue to supply the concrete for the RAPID project.
